Yoshida Tainai Lava Tree Mold
Sacred cave for Mt. Fuji worshipper
Sacred air drifts, the entrance of the cave is in the forest. The Yoshida lava tree molds were found in 1892 and worshipped as "Otainai" (volcanic cave that looks like the inside of a body). "Konohanano Sakuya Hime" is enshrining in the lava tree molds as the god of safe of womens childbirth.
*The cave is normally closed. Only open to the public on every April 29 Tainai-sai (Tainai Festival).
